On saturday afternoon we took a trip on the ferry to Manly for a bit of sight-seeing and shopping (of course). The weather turned decidedly nasty at sunset, so we hotfooted it back to the ferry terminal for the trip home. Having 15 minutes to kill we ducked into the nearest cafe for a hot chocolate. 

After a few minutes, we couldn't help notice that groups of tourists were whispering and gesturing at us. Well, me in particular. "Uh oh" I thought, "looks like my reputation has preceded me once again". Have I been here before, pissed up and gotten thrown out? Not likely, given that its just a cafe, but you never know with me.

We got our hot chocolate and sat down. Looking at the cup the drink was served in, I noticed we were in the famous chocolatiere marketed as "Max Brenner, chocolate by the bald man", whose logo was an outline of a bald man's head that closely resembled my own.

So for all you Japanese and German tourists who saw me on saturday afternoon wandering around Max Brenner's, I am not he. He is not me. Just because a man with a freshly shaved head goes into a store called "chocolate by the bald man" doesn't make him the owner, ok? And no, next week I will not be hanging out at Yul Brynners fish-and-chippery or drinking at the Telly Savalas Bar and Grille.
